International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Plant Protection Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to support the Vietnamese Government’s efforts to expand export markets for its agricultural produce.
Viet Nam, with strength as a tropical agricultural country, has been integrating deeply into the global economy as it can produce a variety of agricultural products with high nutritional and commercial value.
Viet Nam will focus on expanding the export market for agricultural products in the second quarter of this year, said Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Ha Cong Tuan.
